Church and Respect - King James Version
Leviticus 19:30
[30] Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD
Psalm 111:1-10[1] Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in
the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
[2] The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have
pleasure therein.
[3] His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth
for ever.
[4] He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is
gracious and full of compassion.
[5] He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful
of his covenant.
[6] He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give
them the heritage of the heathen.
[7] The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments
are sure.
[8] They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and
uprightness.
[9] He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant
for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
[10] The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good
understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for
ever.
Psalm 139:1-4
[1] O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.[2] Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
[3] Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
[4] For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
Romans 12:10
[10] Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in
honour preferring one another;
Hebrews 13:15-19
[15] By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God
continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
[16] But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such
sacrifices God is well pleased.
[17] Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for
they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it
with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
[18] Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things
willing to live honestly.
[19] But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to
you the sooner.
