DLTK's Bible Activities for Kids
Bible Readings
The custom chore charts on the site have been used by quite a number of our viewers as Bible readings charts -- simply type the child(ren)'s names as the Column labels in step 6 and the Bible passages as the Row labels in step 7. These custom charts allow you to prepare charts for any lessons you're working on with your kids or Sunday School class.
I was thinking that since this is such a popular time of year for Bible readings, I would make up a specific chore chart suggestion for your use - the templates are found at the bottom of this page. I've also made up a specific chore chart for Easter. The custom charts are still available for you if you'd like to continue the idea throughout the year.
- Easter Bible Readings Chart:
- each cloud represents a different Bible reading for Easter:
- Isaiah Chapter 53:2-6
- Mark Chapter 14:32-41
- Mark Chapter 14:42-51
- Mark Chapter 15:25-32
- Mark Chapter 15:33-47
- Luke Chapter 24:1-12
note: the Isaiah chapter is from the old testament and foretells the death of Jesus.
- each cloud represents a different Bible reading for Easter:
- hang the chart on the refrigerator so that you can place magnets onto the clouds as the readings are completed or print the B&W version and allow the children to color the clouds as they complete their readings
- When the child has completed all of the readings you can clip off the "I'm a Christian Super Star!" rectangle and treat it as an award or a "coupon".
Templates:
- Close the template window after printing to return to this screen.
- Set page margins to zero if you have trouble fitting the template on one page (FILE, PAGE SETUP or FILE, PRINTER SETUP in most browsers).
